Our club hosts many different Niagara Regional Soccer Program teams including U13IModel, U14IModel, U16, U17 and U18.
Registration for 2025 Tryouts are now open.

Club Roma Soccer's travel program continues to grow with Club Roma now home to more teams than ever ranging from the U7 boys and U7 girls Developmental Programs and the U8 boys and U8 girls Festival teams, all the way through to the U9 to U18 girls and boys travel teams as well as the Men's Peninsula Soccer League teams and four Women's Niagara Soccer League teams. Club Roma Soccer is also home to an "Old Timer's" recreational league on Friday evenings.
Also, we are pleased to be the host club for some NRSP (Niagara Regional Soccer Program) teams.
Continuing on the Long Term Player Development, we are excited to welcome our League 1 Premier and Reserve Teams to Roma.
2023 - IModel is at Roma! IModel is an "Integrated Model" - an Ontario Soccer approved pilot project for central, south and western regions in Ontario. Our League provider district is Peel Halton. The intention is to integrate stakeholders and existing competitive structures, with the goal to unify the soccer community addressing a number of items including: length of season, promotion, relegation, adequate level of competition. HIGH PERFORMANCE: Club Roma introduces High Performance Training for those players wanting to take their game to the next level. Teams in Imodel and Regional levels now part of this program focusing on player development 11 months per year.
U7 Development Teams practice and play at Roma. The season runs from May to August. The commitment is 2 to 3 times per week.
NSL (Niagara Soccer League) / HSL (Hamilton Soccer League)- Teams travel within Niagara for weekly league games. The season runs from May to September. Time commitment is approximately 2 to 3 training sessions per week with one game held on a weekday.
NRSP Teams travel through the Golden Horseshoe / Peel Regions for their weekly league games. The season runs from May to September.
Training sessions are determined by your Head Coach, staff and field availability.
Some teams will take part in winter training. This is not mandatory for all teams.
Typically, U7 and U8 begin their training in early spring.

COST
Travel registrations for NSL/HSL varies depending on age from $225 - $600.00 per season. Registration includes costs for Ontario Soccer/ Niagara Soccer Association fees, referee costs, facility upgrades etc.
Registration for NRSP teams are calculated differently at District and club levels. Fees are $1500 approximately.
Fees for High Performance teams vary depending on training / travel / game costs.
Additional fees include winter training costs, training costs, tournament/festival fees, travel costs, some referee fees, etc.
COACHES
Travel Coaches must carry certain qualifications through Ontario Soccer. Concussion training and Respect in Sport are requirements. All coaches must submit a CRC-Vulnerable Sector Records Check through NRPS.

Respect in Sport for Parents - Getting Started (respectgroupinc.com)
This is a one hour online program for parents/guardians, reinforcing their role in their child’s activities, encouraging positive sport behaviors, and providing insight into the various roles other individuals play, such as coaches and officials. The cost is $12.00 and must be done prior to April 1st. Upload your completed certificate to your Roma Powerup Account.
