FIELD LOCATION

For this year’s tournament we had to use some fields for our Saturday games in Welland, Ontario, not far from St. Catharines, about 15-minute drive due to field ability in St. Catharines.

All scores and standings will be constantly updated in Tourney Machine, an app that you can download for your iPhone or Android devices.  All schedules have been uploaded to the app and can be seen at this point of time to anyone.  Once scores have been reported by the convenor to the Tournament Director, they will posted to the App.  Playoff brackets and so on will also be updated as soon as we can.

TOURNAMENT CHECK IN

For your games, you must register at Sir Winston Churchill SS 1 hour prior to your first game.  On the Saturday, our Tournament Director will be at SWC at 7:00 am to get the field ready there, and will be available for registration.  

PLAYER OF THE GAME

You will receive a player of the game t-shirt for every game that you play, and you will award this to a member of the other team you are playing.

What to bring to registration:

1. Stamped OS Roster with Photos or Player Cards
2. Filled out and completed tournament roster sheet (attached in word format)
3. Filled and completed game sheets for every game you may play in the tournament, including playoff games and finals.  Only one game sheet needed per game.
4. Signed Code of Conduct form, only one member of coaching staff needs to submit on behalf of team.

Note: *  you are allowed to dress up to 20 players per game for the 11v11 tournament. 

TURF RULES - 

1. Parents and Spectators must remain in the seating area.  They cannot go down to the track or field area.  We please ask your parents to work with us with this rule.  Coaches and players are welcome down on the field area.
2. No food or drink other than water allowed down on the turf.
3. Please cleanup your garbage from the field and put it in the garbage can near the exit off the field area.
4. The North field is further away from the entrance, the South field is closer to the entrance.
5. Porta-potties are available for use just by the gate, spectators cannot go into the school.
6. On the way out after your second game, we will have water bottles for your players to take home.  We appreciate you coming and participating in our festival and hope you come back next year.
7. No lawn chairs allowed on the turf surface.

Please make sure that you read the rules, if you suspect the eligibility of a player, you can check the books of the other team. There will be a field convenor at every field to answer questions, or you can email tournaments@romasoccer.com
